HOLOGRAPHY
Holography was invented
in 1947 by Dennis GABOR.
It
is an optical construction of interference fringes, realized with
a mercury lamp, allowing to realize the integral relief of a matter
analysis by transparency. ROGERS, an englishman, named this recording
procedure: "Holography" (to reproduce the whole information).
HOLOGRAM (1960: LEITH
and UPATNIEKS)
After
the new achievements in laser technology, LEITH and UPATNIEKS
go back, in 1960, to the work of Dennis GABOR (1947) on Holography.
Thanks to this new technology, they control and define the image
in 3 dimensions. The public discovers the hologram.
Today,
holograms are used to prevent forgery.

HOLOGRAVURE + HOLOGRAM
