DESIGN
HOLOGRAVURE
|
The
HOLOGRAVURE effects
depend
on designs
but
all the HOLOGRAVURE effects are very soft (no eye aches, like
a few lenticular designs).
|
| With
Hologravure designs, you will have : |
|
|
|
more
often than not : 3D
(depth effects)
|
|
|
|
sometimes
: volume, space, etc.
|
|
|
|
usually
: (more often than not) dynamic effects
when you move the picture or when you walk in front of the
picture

sometimes
: Hologravure "special effects"
(iridescence, changing of colors, light effects, virtual transparency,
" liquid" transparency, water scintillation, sparkling
and twinkling, satellite map, glass, eye, speckle, etc.)
|
|
|
|
more
often than not : a mixing (medley) of all kinds of Hologravure
effects

Please,
don't confuse Hologravure (new 3D DESIGN technology)
with other 3D technologies (lenticular images, holography,
anaglyphs, etc.)
The
3D effects are quite different
the applications, too.

HOW
TO READ "3D" HOLOGRAVURE PICTURES |
Different
layers are placed on top of one another.
The
layers in the background of the traditional printing surface
("reference layer") are called B1, B2, B3... (B
like background); the layers on top of the "reference
layer" are called F1, F2... (F like foreground).
The
distance between the different layers are in centimeters
(from medium plane).
Possibility
of "volume" and "space" according to
the specificities of Hologravure process.
